CABC (California Bible Conference)

CABC, a DBA (Doing Business As) of Global Media & IT (GMIT), follows the vision and curriculum of NYBC (New York Bible Conference). NYBC began in 2007 with Korean youth from six cities in Upstate New York (Buffalo, Ithaca, Rochester, Binghamton, Syracuse, Albany) dreaming of restoration and revival through the Word. Additionally, KYBC (Korea Young People Bible Conference, www.kybc.info), which started in 2011, is also rooted in the foundation of NYBC.
As a ministry under GMIT, CABC exists to promote spiritual revival among Koreans living in the California region, foster unity among local churches, and raise disciples of Christ by restoring the true Gospel. This relationship with GMIT allows CABC to leverage innovative media and technology solutions to further its mission of revival and discipleship.
God’s Word is powerful. It is life-giving. Through the Word, souls are revived, and lives are transformed. It is through such transformed Christians that local churches experience restoration and revival, communities are changed, nations are renewed, and ultimately, the world returns to God’s Word, fulfilling God’s dream.
The Bible, written through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, is the Word of God. Its overarching theme flows through Jesus Christ. From the beginning of Genesis to the final chapter of Revelation, the Bible presents the foreshadowing of the coming Christ, the redemptive historical flow, the person and redemptive work of Jesus Christ, and God’s love and grace for us. We must understand the Bible from this redemptive-historical perspective and discover Jesus Christ, who is woven throughout the entire Bible. By experiencing the central theme of the Bible—Jesus Christ, who unites the Old and New Testaments—we aim to uncover the core of the Gospel. We press forward with hope in the Kingdom of God, which will be fulfilled through Jesus Christ.
God has stirred our hearts to dream and envision revival in California, where we live as part of the diaspora. He has led us to prepare for this vision through prayer for many years. At the appointed time, through His ways, He brought us together in unity to fulfill His purpose, leading to the establishment of CABC as a ministry under GMIT.
This is not an endeavor of human scale but a God-sized work that He Himself will accomplish.
